Principal’s Message

Dear Alexander Twilight College Preparatory Academy Families,

Welcome to another exciting school year at Alexander Twilight College Preparatory Academy! It is an honor to begin my third year as principal of this incredible school community.

Over the past two years, our staff, scholars, and families have worked together to build a school culture rooted in high expectations, strong relationships, and an unwavering belief that every child can achieve at the highest levels. Because of that collective commitment, we have made tremendous progress. From increased student achievement and academic growth to stronger instructional practices, improved systems, and an even more positive school culture, our scholars continue to demonstrate what is possible when a community works together with purpose.

While we are proud of our accomplishments, we know our work is not finished. Our focus this year is to build on that momentum by ensuring every scholar receives rigorous, engaging instruction every day. We will continue strengthening literacy and mathematics instruction, providing meaningful enrichment opportunities, fostering scholar leadership, and partnering closely with families to support the success of every child.

At ATCPA, we believe education is about more than academics. We strive to develop scholars who are confident, resilient, kind, and prepared to thrive in college, career, and life. Every decision we make is centered on what is best for our scholars and on creating opportunities that expand their futures.

Our school has experienced exciting changes this year, including campus improvements that reflect the pride we have in our community. As our building takes on a fresh new look, our commitment remains the same: providing a safe, joyful, and academically challenging environment where every scholar is known, valued, and inspired to reach their full potential.

Thank you for your continued partnership and trust. Together, we will make this our strongest year yet. I look forward to celebrating our scholars’ successes and working alongside each of you as we continue building a school community where excellence is expected, growth is celebrated, and every scholar belongs.

With gratitude,
Kerinn Tillman
