Principal’s Message

Hello Families and Stakeholders,

We are honored to welcome you to Alexander Twilight College Preparatory Academy. This is history  in the making! Alexander Twilight holds a high standard for excellence, providing an academically challenging, structured, safe and joyful school for the children of San Juan Unified School District. We are thrilled that  you have made Alexander Twilight your school of choice, and we welcome you to our school community. We know that our success as a school depends on the support of our families, and we look forward to forming positive partnerships with you. We expect a lot from the members of the ATCPA community,  and in turn, you can expect a lot from us. Some major priorities for the 24-25 school year will be:

  1. Rigorous & joyful classrooms: We are committed to ensuring educational equity within our student body. Classrooms will have data driven instruction tailored to scholar achievement that are fun to be in and learn within.
  2. Clear and consistent communication with families: Families will receive communication consistently about their scholar’s progress and will be able to join workshops to help build our school community and help with scholar achievement.
  3. Clear consequences & rewards for behavior: We will implement a whole school behavior management system where scholars receive clear consequences and rewards for their actions. This will be streamlined across classrooms and grade levels.

We look forward to embarking on this journey with you, as we set your child on the path to educational excellence.

With Pride,

Kerinn Tillman
Principal
