Principal’s Message

Welcome to Vanguard College Preparatory Academy

Welcome to Vanguard College Prep, a 6th–12th grade learning community where every student is known, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our school is built on strong relationships, high expectations, and a deep belief that all students can succeed, especially when learning is personalized, inclusive, and culturally responsive. We’re proud to serve a diverse student body, including many first-generation college-bound scholars and multilingual learners.

At Vanguard, we focus on academic excellence and student growth. Through advisory, personalized learning plans, and data-informed instruction, students set meaningful goals and track their progress throughout the year. Our team works collaboratively to ensure all students receive the support and challenge they need to thrive—whether that’s through differentiated instruction, scaffolded support, or real-time feedback.

Beyond the classroom, we aim to create a joyful school culture, affirming and connected. From student-led conferences to school-wide events, we celebrate student voice, reflect on growth, and build a strong sense of community. Thank you for being a part of Vanguard—we can’t wait to serve you as we shape futures full of possibility together.
