Madison Chaplin

Assistant Principal

Bio

Madison was born and raised in Citrus Heights, California, and is a first-generation college graduate. Madison earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), a Master’s Degree in Urban Education with a concentration in literacy, and a Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from Loyola Marymount University.

Madison started her educational career with Teach for America where she was taught at Aspire APEX Academy in Stockton, California. She taught kindergarten and first grade here for four years before continuing on to Oak Park to teach at Aspire Capitol Heights Academy. She believes in building up strong educators to support our scholars and families in a collaborative community. It takes a village to raise our youth and she believes in a collective community to ensure there is trust as a foundation.

She is deeply committed as an advocate and an ally to ensure our students have an equal opportunity to an excellent education. Her hope for students is that they are empowered to be their best selves, love one another, and to help them achieve the goals they set for themselves.

She lives with her husband and for fun, she enjoys hiking, kayaking, camping, crafting, and going to sporting events. She values family and ensures quality time with her nieces and nephews.
