Principal’s Message

I am the daughter of immigrant parents who migrated to the United States for a better future. South Central LA is the community that raised me and now continues to raise my own children as well. It was through my educational experience in this community, that many of my current beliefs about education first formed.

One of my strongest beliefs is in the idea of Collective Efficacy. It’s a profound underlying belief of a collective group, or school community, in their ability to positively affect students. I come with immense commitment and strive for the work we do. After all, it’s our students who are so deserving of this and more. I firmly believe that through ongoing partnerships and collaboration with you, we will be able to make this the greatest shared experience for our scholars.

At Aspire Inskeep Academy, we have various committees that you will be interested in participating in. Our English Language Advisory Council (ELAC) and School Site Council (SSC) are two core committees that allow us to form a mutually beneficial partnership for student success. Moreover, your presence during Antojitos with Angeles is crucial in communicating ideas and solutions to us. I am humbled for the opportunity to be of service and look forward to building strong relationships with students, staff and families at Aspire Inskeep Academy for years to come.

Yours in service, Esmeralda Angeles
——————————————————————————-
