Earn your BA degree and launch your teaching career!
Aspire Public Schools, in partnership with Rivet School, is now recruiting Aspire Bay staff members to participate in a Pre-Teacher Residency Pilot Program. Students will receive support from Lena Anthony, Aspire’s Director of Teacher Residency while earning their BA with Rivet School. After graduation, staff members will receive priority in the Alder GSE admissions process to earn a teaching credential and MA degree.
About the program
Rivet School is a college built for real life. We pair students with a personal academic coach, help students stay on track through structured programming, provide test prep for the CBEST/CSET, offer supplemental career coaching and training, and provide resources like a laptop, co-working space, and more. As part of the Pre-Teacher Residency Pilot Program, you will receive the following support:
Tuition and Financial Aid
- Pay no more than $1,000 for the first year of college
- Tuition is split over 3 terms or paid via a monthly payment plan (no more than $85 per month)
- Rivet School will help you apply for federal financial aid (FAFSA, Pell Grant) to minimize your out-of-pocket costs
- Scholarships are available for Aspire staff based on need
