Principal’s Message

Welcome to Aspire Inskeep Academy!

I welcome each and every one of you to our new academic school year!

My name is Esmeralda Ángeles. I am the daughter of immigrant parents who immigrated to the United States in search of a better future. South Central L.A. is the community that raised me, and I understand firsthand the need to transform our educational system to serve the students in our community.

It was through my educational experience in this community that many of my current beliefs about education were first formed. One of my strongest beliefs is in the idea of collective efficacy. It is a deep underlying belief of a collective group, or school community, in its ability to positively impact students. I come with immense commitment and dedication to the work we do. After all, it is our students who deserve this and more.

I firmly believe that through continued partnerships and collaboration with you, we can make this the best shared experience for our students. At Aspire Inskeep Academy, we have several committees that you may be interested in serving on. Our English Language Advisory Council (ELAC) and School Site Council (SSC) are two core committees that allow us to form a mutually beneficial partnership for student success. Additionally, your presence during “Coffee with Mrs. Angeles” is crucial for communicating ideas and solutions.

I am honored by the opportunity to lead our school. I look forward to building strong relationships with the students, staff, and families of Aspire Inskeep Academy in the years to come.

In service,

Esmeralda Ángeles
