Principal’s Message

Welcome to Aspire Inskeep Academy!

I am excited about opening the door of our school up to you and making this an exciting school year for our students! I invite you to join us, work with us, and grow with us as we make this school year the best experience for our children.

I invite you to get involved in one of our committees, PTA, ELAC, or School Site Council. Please consider volunteering in our school or from home to support our growing program efforts, attending our Principal’s Conversation and Coffees, or taking a monthly tour to learn about our instructional efforts. We need your support and partnership in promoting a safe school environment, engaging us as partners in education, and working to advance our mission by communicating ideas and solutions with us.

I am here to serve. Please feel free to email, call, or schedule an appointment to meet with me to share your thoughts, feedback, and ideas.

Principal Heaton’s Vision:

Together, I will work with faculty, staff, families, community partners, and the Slauson & Tate schools to develop a cohesive, conspicuous, and thriving school community, which we call the AIA Team. As a team, we will work together building our school’s capacity for achieving our mission and actualizing our shared vision.

Throughout our journey together, we will grow together and achieve individual and collective success as a school community. In short: “Joining together is the beginning. Working together is progress. Growing together is success.” It is my vision to grow Aspire Inskeep Academy into the “Pride of Aspire Public Schools” and serve as a model for educational excellence.

To achieve this vision, I have, as the school leader, articulated qualities, known as “The Exemplars,” which require my efforts in promoting, cultivating, supporting, and celebrating. I believe these are inherent in each member of the AIA community.

Principal Heaton’s Mission:

As a leader in education, it is my mission and work to cultivate a strong school community that can promise and provide all of our children with a safe, engaging, and exciting educational experience.

It is my practice to tell students daily that this is their school and empower students to take pride in taking care of their school, taking care of their teachers, taking care of their peers, and most importantly, taking care of themselves. As a team, I am inviting you to join me, work with me, and grow with me, as we make this school the best experience for our students.

Yours in service,

Charles R. Heaton, Ph.D.
