Principal’s Message

Welcome to another fabulous year with Vincent Shalvey Academy and a special welcome to our new families joining us this year.  This will be my 12th year with Aspire.  It is with gratitude and humility that I serve as Principal here at Vincent Shalvey Academy.  I believe EVERY scholar is brilliant, talented and capable of achieving great things.

As we move into the 2024-2025 school year, I am looking forward to implementing our school site goals which are:
1. Ensuring all scholars are meaningfully engaged in rigorous, standards-aligned, culturally responsive academic programming
2. Cultivating communities that foster inclusive, joyful, and safe learning environments
3. Ensuring all scholars have access to a team of diverse, effective and thriving professionals who are developed and supported to show up as their best and enact culturally responsive practices

An important part of that is to have your children in school EVERY SINGLE DAY.  We will be serious about attendance and will be committed to having students at school and on time.

Education is like a 3-legged stool with each leg representing family, student and school.  Without all three legs working together the stool will topple.  I look forward to collaborating together to make sure that each of our scholars reach their full potential!

With Appreciation,
Danessa Partin
