Principal’s Message

Dear Vincent Shalvey Academy Scholars and Families,

Welcome to another fabulous year with Vincent Shalvey Academy and a special welcome to our new families joining us this year. This will be my 13th year in education and my 11th year with Aspire. It is with gratitude and humility that I serve as Principal here at Vincent Shalvey Academy. I believe EVERY scholar is brilliant, talented and capable of achieving great things.

As we move into the new school year, I am looking forward to
implementing our school site goals:
1. Ensuring all scholars are meaningfully engaged in rigorous,
standards-aligned, culturally responsive academic programming,
2. Cutivate communities tha foster inclusive, joyful, and safe learning environments
3. Ensure all scholars have access to a team of diverse, effective, and thriving professionals who are developed and supported to show up their best and enact culturally responsive practices.

An important part of that is to have your children in school EVERY SINGLE DAY. We will be very serious about attendance and will be committed to having students at school and on time. Education is like a 3-legged stool with each leg representing family, student
and school. Without all three legs working together the stool will topple. I look forward to collaborating together to make sure that each of our scholars reaches the stars!

With Appreciation,
Danessa Partin
