Principal’s Message

Dear Vincent Shalvey Academy Scholars and Families,

Welcome to another fabulous year with Vincent Shalvey Academy and a special welcome to our new families joining us this year.  This will be my 12th year in education and my 10th year with Aspire.  It is with gratitude and humility that I serve as Principal here at Vincent Shalvey Academy.  I believe EVERY scholar is brilliant, talented and capable of achieving great things.  Education is like a 3-legged stool with each leg representing family, student and school.  Without all three legs working together the stool will topple.  I look forward to collaborating together to make sure that each of our scholars reaches the stars!

As we move into the 2021-2022 school year, I am looking forward to instructing our scholars on campus in person.  The last school year was an extremely difficult year for our educators and of course, you and your children.  As we move forward from this pandemic our goal is to use learning acceleration strategies so that our scholars can reach grade level proficiency by the end of this school year.  An important part of that is to have your children in school EVERY SINGLE DAY.  We will be very serious about attendance and will be committed to having students at school and ON TIME!

With Appreciation,

Danessa Partin
