Terry Kawi

I was born in SF and raised on the Peninsula (South City and Millbrae). I started in education as an after-school writing tutor and began classroom teaching soon after. I left the classroom in 2022 after nearly 10 years of teaching middle school ELA. *I love middle schoolers!* I was Aspire’s Bay Area Secondary Humanities Program Manager before becoming a Principal (23-24). In my free time, I enjoy working out (lifting weights), spending time with friends and loved ones, and hanging out with my dog, Nick.
