Susana Oropeza

I was born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City, the proud daughter of Mexican immigrants who came to this country in the early ’70s in search of new opportunities.

Since I was little, I dreamed of becoming a teacher and working with young children. Life, as it often does, took me in a different direction—but I’m grateful it led me to work in a school setting. Being part of the office team and school community brings me so much joy and fulfillment. The connections I build with students and families are truly special and meaningful.

Outside of work, I love spontaneous road trips or unwinding at one of my favorite places—the beach. It’s my happy place, especially when I’m behind a camera capturing a stunning sunset. When I’m not out exploring, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking Mexican food, where every dish is made with love (my favorite ingredient).
