Stephanie Vaughn

With over 20 years of Human Resources experience in education, Stephanie now serves as the Head of Human Resources for Aspire Public Schools’ Bay Area and Central Valley regions. In this role, she leads regional HR strategy and implementation, partnering closely with school and Home Office leaders to ensure strong teammate experiences that are aligned with Aspire’s core values and organizational goals.

Before this role, Stephanie served as a senior HR leader on Aspire’s network-wide team, overseeing the Employee Relations, Credentialing, and Employee Services teams. Her work has consistently centered on creating systems that are both legally sound and people-centered, ensuring teammates are qualified, supported, and empowered to thrive in their roles.

Stephanie has been with Aspire for over a decade, previously serving as HR Manager and Director of Employee Relations. She is known for her strategic thinking, commitment to equity, and belief in recognizing the humanity and potential of every teammate. She takes pride in helping individuals and teams find practical, lasting solutions to challenges, always with an eye toward continuous improvement.

Outside of work, Stephanie enjoys spending quality time with her family and staying active, especially through boxing. She remains deeply committed to fostering a culture of openness and approachability and encourages teammates to reach out with questions, concerns, or ideas.
