Starrlight Murray

Starrlight Murray was born and raised in Stockton, CA, and moved to Sacramento in 2002 during her junior year of high school. She completed her senior year at Luther Burbank High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Photography from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

In 2016, when her son enrolled at Capitol Heights Academy, Starrlight began volunteering regularly, so much so that she was offered a position at the school. That opportunity sparked her passion for education and supporting students and families.

Starrlight now proudly serves as the Business Manager at Capitol Heights Academy, where she combines her love for organization, community, and student success.
