Sarah Brower

Parent Outreach Coordinator

Bio

Sarah was born and raised in Sacramento, CA, and later attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Community Studies. Throughout high school and college, Sarah worked with numerous nonprofits, which solidified her lifelong passion for community-based organizing and outreach.

Shortly after graduating, Sarah moved abroad to work as an educator in Spain. She spent one year in the capital city of Madrid and five years in a small but beautiful mountain town called Teruel. During this time, Sarah developed her skills as an educator while working with families to ensure each student had the individualized resources necessary for success.

Sarah returned to her hometown of Sacramento in May 2024. A few months later, she joined the Aspire family as the Parent Outreach Coordinator at Capitol Heights Academy. She is part of the Stronger Connections Team and has loved working closely with the wonderful families, students, and staff at CHA. Sarah looks forward to continuing to grow and serve alongside everyone there!

She lives with her husband in an apartment filled with houseplants. In her free time, Sarah enjoys staying active, exploring nature, traveling, reading, and cooking. Most of all, she loves spending time with her loved ones, including her parents, two younger brothers, her many family members, including her extended English family, and her friends.
