Lety Vega-Chihuaque

Greetings Aspire Parents and Guardians,

I would like to welcome you to our newest Aspire elementary school. My name is Leticia Vega-Chihuaque; I am excited to be the Business Manager for our new elementary school. I look forward to meeting you and your children in person and have an awesome year of learning in our new school.

I‘ve been working with Aspire Public Schools for five years. I’ve worked with our Aspire Rosa Parks Academy and Aspire Port City Academy as an Office Assistant and now as the Business Manager for Aspire Arts & Sciences Academy. I am bilingual in English/Spanish. I’ve been married for 21 years and have three children. I am an Aspire parent, I believe in the Aspire mission. I love our small school community where our students grow knowing everybody on campus and we all grow as a family.

I graduated from Edison High School. I have an Associate in Applied Science degree in Medical Billing and Coding and worked in the Medical Field for years without knowing that my true passion was working with and for the little ones. Working with children has been very rewarding. I love to see them start at the beginning of the school year, with their baby faces, and by the end of the school year, see them move on to the next grade looking so mature, being social, following directions, and just taking it all in like little sponges. They grow up so fast! 

I want to thank you for entrusting your precious children’s education to us and for allowing us to serve you and your family. I’m here for you and your family and look forward to supporting and growing with you and your children. I can’t wait to meet you all in person and to know you and your family.
