Brandy Frakes

Hello! 

I’m Brandy Frakes and I’m excited to join the 1st-grade team at Aspire Stockton Arts & Sciences Academy! I began teaching in 2001 and have been with Aspire for more than ten years as a teacher, instructional coach, and dean of instruction. Aspire is my home because of my deep beliefs in our mission to make sure that every child has access to high-quality education with a supportive team of educators around them. I love teaching because I am a lifelong learner and each day I learn from my kids and their families. My mind and heart grow each day.

Outside of teaching, my loves are my family, my husband, Wes, and our 13-year-old twins, Nicholas and Noah. We enjoy playing games, hiking, and cooking together. I also enjoy reading, crafting, and spending time with my gigantic dog.
