Bio

Ariel Richardson is a Los Angeles native and Sacramento has earned a special place in her heart. Mrs. Richardson was raised in a family of educators and chose a similar life path. She attended California State University, Northridge where she earned a B.S. and M.S. (with distinction) in Family and Consumer Sciences, Family Studies and a Master’s Certificate in Gerontology. Mrs. Richardson began her journey as an educator in 2009 with a non-profit organization servicing students within multiple Los Angeles County school districts.

Mrs. Richardson worked with Los Angeles County Office of Education in youth detention facilities, continuation schools, and public schools where she researched student and family access to resources and restorative justice practices. Having had the opportunity to work with individuals of all age ranges, Mrs. Richardson has a passion for helping others achieve their highest potential and connecting students and families with resources to support their individual growth and growth within the family unit.

Mrs. Richardson joined Aspire in 2021 and quickly developed a love for the mission and vision of the charter. As the vision evolves with the times, the Aspire community will continue to solidify partnerships within the communities it serves. Mrs. Richardson is excited and invested in the growth of the organization whose dedicated team works as a unit to provide a safe space for students to succeed.
