Andrei Stvistal
Community School DirectorBio
Hello everyone, my name is Andrei Stvistal, and I’m originally from Far Rockaway, Queens, New York. I moved to Sacramento in 2022. I’m the middle child of three siblings and come from a close-knit family. I hold an associate’s degree in early childhood education from Central Georgia Technical College, a bachelor’s degree in general studies from Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas, and a master’s in social work from Washington University in St. Louis, ranked the number one social work program in the country.
I began my journey at Aspire Capitol Heights Academy as the Interim Afterschool Director, a role that opened the door for me to step into the position of Community School Director the following summer. Working with youth has been a lifelong passion of mine, beginning in my own community and continuing throughout my college years. Being part of the Aspire Capitol Heights community brings me both joy and purpose, as it allows me to support, guide, and be a positive role model for the students we serve.
During my free time, I enjoy watching sports, playing basketball, working out, and traveling. These activities help me stay balanced and energized, both personally and professionally.
