Leadership Announcement: James Willcox Named Interim Transition President & CEO

The Aspire Board of Directors has selected James Willcox to serve as Aspire’s Interim Transition President & CEO.

James is not new to Aspire, as he previously served as CEO (2009-2015) and brings deep familiarity with our schools, communities, values, and mission. His experience and lasting connection to this work make him well-suited to lead during this transition phase of our organization.

As Aspire moves toward a regional model, James will lead the planning and coordination required across the organization, allowing Executive Directors and their teams to remain focused on our school communities.

This is a temporary role, and we appreciate James’s dedication to Aspire’s mission and look forward to the work ahead.
