Groundbreaking for New Modesto Campus

On November 1st the Aspire Central Valley team and our project partners from the Turner-Agassi Charter School Facilities Fund broke ground on the new Modesto school site that will serve as the new home of both Aspire University Charter School (Aspire UCS) and Aspire Vanguard College Preparatory Academy (Aspire Vanguard) beginning in the Fall of 2018! The property, located at 819 Sunset Avenue in Modesto, is an ideal spot for this new TK-12 campus. The eight-month construction project will consist of renovating the existing facility, adding some new facilities components, and developing the school grounds.

Aspire UCS and Aspire Vanguard will continue operating in their current school sites for the remainder of the 2017-18 school year and transition to this new campus for the start of the 2018-19 school year. The new campus will allow Aspire UCS and Aspire Vanguard to expand their capacities to serve more students, enhance programming, and offer a more central location within the Modesto community. There will be sufficient space for the two schools to continue serving all current students and families as well as increase enrollment.
