Jennifer Green

Jennifer Green serves as Associate Superintendent, supporting the Leadership & Culture Departments and several Aspire schools across the Central Valley, including Aspire APEX Academy, Aspire Port City Academy, Aspire Rosa Parks Academy, Aspire River Oaks Charter School, Aspire University Charter School, and Aspire Vincent Shalvey Academy. 

Since joining Aspire in 2005 as a founding K–1 teacher, Jennifer has held numerous leadership roles—including principal and regional superintendent—with a focus on equity, belonging, and transformational leadership development. She is passionate about cultivating strong, inclusive school cultures and believes deeply in the power of school leaders to drive educational liberation, empowering students to challenge inequities, think critically, and shape their futures.

Jennifer is committed to creating equitable learning environments where every student graduates with agency, preparation, and opportunities to thrive—whether in higher education, the workforce, or as bold, compassionate leaders in their communities and the world.

Rooted in Sacramento, Jen is a yoga instructor and nature lover who brings mindfulness and heart to her work. She is proud to mark her 21st year at Aspire by continuing to serve students, families, and leaders with a strong focus on equity, belonging, rigorous instruction, and community-centered school culture.
