Additionally, in order to encourage and support stakeholder involvement, each school’s website contains the following information in both Spanish and English:

Opportunities to share thoughts and opinions through email and ParentSquare, the interactive parent communication platform used by the school.

Welcome to Aspire Antonio Maria Lugo Academy!

Dear AMLA Families and Community,

As we begin the 2026 to 2027 school year, it is with great pride and gratitude that I welcome you to Aspire Antonio Maria Lugo Academy. Whether you are a returning family or new to our community, I want you to know this: you belong here.

At AMLA, we believe in the power of public education to transform lives. Our mission is to create a school where students feel safe, seen, and celebrated. We want them to be challenged academically, supported emotionally, and uplifted as the brilliant, capable young people they are. We know that learning thrives in joyful, inclusive spaces, and we are committed to cultivating that joy every day.

Our school was honored as a 2025 California Distinguished School and received 2025 PBIS Gold Recognition. These honors reflect the hard work, love, and collective dedication of our students, families, educators, and staff. They represent more than academic achievement. They reflect our shared commitment to equity, belonging, community, and the unwavering belief that every child can succeed.

As principal, I am deeply committed to leading with integrity, empathy, and a sense of purpose. I believe schools must be places of healing, growth, and connection, not just for students but for the adults who support them. My team and I are here to partner with you, to listen, to grow, and to work together to ensure every child receives the education they deserve.
