Kat Ellison

Kat Ellison serves as the Head of Education for Aspire Public Schools Central Valley, where she leads instructional strategy, implementation, and quality across 16 schools. Since joining Aspire in 2003, Kat has served as a teacher, principal, and regional instructional leader, committed to advancing equity, culturally responsive teaching, and student agency. A proud Stockton resident, she is inspired by the opportunity to build systems that celebrate student voice and empower educators in the Central Valley. A lifelong nerd, Kat loves all things math, science, and reading—and is happiest when learning alongside others. She lives in Stockton with her husband and three children—all proud Aspire students.
