Bio

Born and raised in North Oakland, CA, I started my journey in education teaching third and fifth grade at Aspire Triumph Academy and later at Caliber Changemakers Academy in Vallejo. From the classroom to instructional coaching and now administration in Oakland and San Lorenzo Unified, I’ve stayed rooted in my commitment to being a student-centered, anti-racist educator. I lead with love, curiosity, and equity, always striving to create spaces where students, especially those historically underserved, feel seen, valued, and empowered to thrive. I’m beyond excited to return to Aspire and lead at BMA, where I can continue this important work in a community I hold close to my heart.

Outside of education, I’m a lover of words, poetry, and storytelling. I’m unapologetically Black, a die-hard Warriors fan, and always vibing to 90’s R&B.

At my core, I am a leader who believes in the power of education, the beauty of community, and the necessity of creating spaces where love, equity, and joy can transform lives.
