Shelby Schmidt

Shelby Dean Schmidt has served as Principal of Aspire Port City Academy since 2009 and was a founding lead teacher when the school opened in 2007. She holds a Master’s degree in Education Administration from San Jose State University.

Mrs. Schmidt is committed to creating a school community where students feel a strong sense of belonging and are supported within a caring, family-centered environment. She values family voice and believes that strong partnerships between school and home are essential to student success. Mrs. Schmidt welcomes families as active participants in their children’s education and in the broader Port City Academy community.
