Mariela Garcia

Mariela Garcia is the Director of Operations for Aspire Bay Area, where she leads the systems and supports that ensure schools run smoothly and effectively. Born and raised in the community she now serves, Mariela brings a deep, personal commitment to educational equity. She has over 17 years of experience in public education operations, including compliance, enrollment, facilities, emergency preparedness, and day-to-day school-site operations. Mariela is proud to give back to the community that shaped her. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family, reading novels, taking long walks, and exploring new foods.
