Maria Garcia

Hi, my name is Maria Garcia, and I’m the Office Assistant here at Aspire Ollin. I’ve been working in education since 2006. I really enjoy the fast-paced environment and the opportunity to support students, families, and staff every day.

Over the years, I’ve worked my way up to the position I’m in now, and I take a lot of pride in being someone our families can count on. Being bilingual in English and Spanish has helped me a lot, especially in such a diverse community like ours.

I think one of the most important qualities to have in the front office is patience and understanding; being able to understand where others are coming from really makes a difference. I’m very hands-on in how I work. I like to observe, learn, and then jump right in to get things done.

If I weren’t working in education, I think I’d like to work at Hobby Lobby one day. The quietness and comfort of that store really speaks to me.
