Lesley Romero-Blanca

Hello! My name is Lesley Romero-Blanco, and I’m so proud to serve as the Expanded Learning Director here at AASA. I was born in San Jose but raised right here in Stockton, CA, a community that means so much to me.

I’ve worked in afterschool programs since 2018, beginning my journey with Stockton Unified School District, where I served until 2024 before joining Aspire. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of growing from Educator, to Afterschool Assistant Director, and now Site Director — each role teaching me the value of connection, teamwork, and creativity. 

All of these experiences have shaped who I am as a leader and prepared me for this role at AASA. My goal is to make our program a true extension of our community, a place where students feel safe, supported, and celebrated. I believe that when schools, families, and programs work hand-in-hand, our children thrive.

I’m excited to continue serving our scholars and families here in Stockton, and to keep building a program that inspires joy, growth, and togetherness for everyone involved.
