Jenna Ogier-Marangella

Jenna is the Superintendent of Schools and Acting Executive Director at Aspire Public Schools Bay Area this year. Her work has included supervision and coaching of our Bay Area Principals and leading the Regional Program Team. For the last seventeen years, Jenna has served as an elementary teacher, lead teacher, mentor teacher, Dean of Students, Assistant Principal, Principal, and Principal Supervisor with Aspire Public Schools. Her guided reading classroom videos were featured on the Teaching Channel, and she also co-directed the PALS Literacy Initiative- a partnership between Aspire and Oakland Unified School District to collaborate and share literacy practices.  Jenna received her BA and MA from UC Berkeley and continues to build learning communities for students, teachers, and leaders in service of establishing a more socially just world.  At home, Jenna enjoys reading with her son and going on family hikes with her pup.
