Celinda Guerrero

Celinda is a first-generation college graduate. She is the daughter of immigrants who came from Nicaragua to the United States in pursuit of better opportunities.
Celinda attended California State University, Long Beach, and received both her Bachelor’s in Liberal Studies and her Master’s in Educational Administration.
She will begin her 13th year in education as the newly appointed Principal for Aspire Junior Collegiate Academy. Prior to JCA, Celinda was the Intervention Specialist and classroom teacher at Aspire Firestone Academy, where she had been for 8 years. Celinda was also a classroom teacher for 4 years in Norwalk La-Mirada Unified School District.
Celinda has been married for almost 15 years. She is a mother to three children; two of whom are Aspire scholars and one who is beginning her adventure into middle school. Celinda keeps busy with kids’ activities like soccer, dance, and weightlifting. Celinda enjoys doing CrossFit, playing with her three dogs, and going to the movies on the weekend.
