Alice Choi

Alice Choi is the principal at East Palo Alto Phoenix Academy (EPAPA). She has previously served at EPAPA as Assistant Principal, College Counselor, and Math and Science Teacher. Prior to joining EPAPA, she served as Director of College Transitions at Bronx Lighthouse College Preparatory Academy. She started her career as a Teach For America corps member in Oakland, CA, teaching high school math to newcomers. She also served as a high school math and English teacher in Los Angeles. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in English from Wellesley College and an M.S.Ed in School Leadership from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education. She was born and raised in Cerritos, California.
