Jenniffer Leyva

My Name is Jenniffer Leyva, and I am the Assistant Principal at Aspire APEX Academy. As your Assistant Principal, I will be supporting our teachers and students with standards-based, rigorous data data-driven instruction. I am prepared to dive deep into the standards and curriculum so that our wildcats can have the best instruction possible. I am determined to assist teachers in meeting the needs of all students. Social-emotional learning is vital for students because it teaches them crucial life skills, including the ability to understand themselves, develop a positive self-image, take responsibility for their actions, and forge relationships with the people around them.

Being a part of this community means that we are all a part of the wildcat family. Everyone in this family is supported, embraced, and encouraged daily.  Our classroom environments will encompass a safe and welcoming atmosphere, where your wildcats will be supported and encouraged daily. I believe in each one of our wildcats and know they can be successful. It is my priority to not only meet the academic needs of your child but also their social and emotional needs. In order to make this year as successful as possible, our teamwork together is crucial.  Remember that we are a team that is working towards the same goal of getting our wildcats through college or careers!
