Mike McCoy

Hello! I am proud to serve as the principal of CCPA. This past month, I finished my 10th year of education; five of those years were with CCPA. Currently I hold a BA in Liberal Studies and a Multiple Subject teaching credential from Cal State Dominguez Hills. In addition, I hold a Master’s in Education with an Administrative Credential from Concordia University of Irvine.

A little more information about me: I have a big family with nine siblings and eleven nieces and nephews, with whom I try to spend a lot of time. When I am not working, I like to spend some time with family and friends, relaxing and trying to cook various recipes.

One quote that really connects with me: “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world” – Nelson Mandela. I feel that the greatest gift we as educators, parents, and family members, can give to today’s youth is an education. It is with an education that we can inspire today’s youth to change the world for the better.
