Anamaria Silva

Anamaria Silva (she/ella or they/them) is an artist, linguist, avid traveler, leader, and educator who has
focused on fostering, promoting, and sustaining culturally affirming spaces for students, families, and the
greater Stockton community.
Prior to joining AASA, Anamaria served as an English Language Development Coordinator, Equity and
Community Engagement Lead, coach, and mentor at Aspire Langston Hughes Academy. She has also
taught at the middle and high school levels in the subjects of English and English Language
Development. Anamaria holds an MA in Education, Curriculum and Instruction, and a BFA in Graphic
Design with a Classics Minor, both from the University of the Pacific. Anamaria completed her
administrative credentialing program through Clark Atlanta University in May of 2024.
A native Stocktonian, Anamaria is passionate about leveraging her community’s resources to broaden the
experiences of our youth and serves as a volunteer in partnership with multiple community organizations
in Stockton.
She is a proud Aspire parent of two critical thinkers who are currently attending the University of the Pacific
and Sacramento State University.
