Sarah Hoefert

Hello,

My name is Sarah Hoefert, and I will be one of the Kindergarten teachers at Aspire Arts & Sciences Academy. 

This is my first year teaching with Aspire and I am so excited to join the community.  I grew up in Ceres, California, and attended California State University, Stanislaus to earn my Bachelors degree in Liberal Studies with a concentration in Child Development.  After graduating, I worked at Aspire University Charter School as an Instructional Aide in a TK classroom.  Working at an Aspire school was an amazing experience and after taking a year to gain experience in a classroom setting, I returned to CSU Stanislaus to complete my multiple subject credential to begin teaching.  

One of my goals as an educator is to engage students in meaningful work so that they can grow to their fullest potential academically, socially, and emotionally.  I believe that the skills they learn in Kindergarten will stay with them throughout their entire academic career and I can’t wait to contribute to that foundation of their learning.  

I look forward to meeting all the incoming students and their families, and working together to have an amazing school year!
