Oliver Enrique Rodriguez

Chief Operating Officer, Educurious

Bio

Oliver Enrique Rodriguez is the current Chief Operating Officer at Educurious, a national leader in project-based learning curriculum, and serves as Managing Partner for PER Law, specializing in EdTech legal support services, and is the author of “A Guide for Minority Law School Candidates”. 

Prior to his work at Educurious, Oliver served as CEO/President at an international nonprofit, servicing predominantly low-income families in the state of California. Oliver has also served as the Chief Talent and Equity Officer and General Counsel at a New York-based Charter Management Organization (Coney Island Prep Schools), Vice President of People at College Track, and has served as a Managing Director/Counsel (Equitas Academy Charter Schools) and Director (Alliance-College Ready Public Schools) at two unique CA-based CMOs overseeing various departments (HR/Talent, legal, operations, compliance, and board governance).

Oliver began his career working for a national tutoring services provider (Rocket Learning, USA), leading and implementing high-impact tutoring leveraging project-based curriculum. Additionally, Oliver has also participated in the Broad Residency in Urban Education and completed his Education Pioneers Fellowship at Vista Unified School District in the Innovation Department to implement the district’s LCAP. Lastly, he’s worked at several AM Law 100 firms and as an in-house counsel at BookNook, Inc, a national high-impact tutoring provider.

Born in Mexico and raised in sunny San Diego, CA, Oliver is a graduate of the University of CA, Riverside (BA in English Literature and Ethnic Studies), California State San Bernardino (Master’s in Public Administration), and received a law degree from the University of San Diego School of Law (JD).
