Bio

Nisa Frank is the Head of School at Prospect Sierra School, a K- 8 school in El Cerrito. In her current role, she is responsible for the growth, safety, and support of various constituencies in addition to the financial vibrancy of the school. Previously, Nisa spent 5 years as the Lower School Head at The Hamlin School in San Francisco. For 12 years before that, she spent most of her career in education in New York City as an educator, director of admission, assistant head of preschool and lower school, faculty board member at the Town School in NYC, an active member of various committees dedicated to equity, and remains truly passionate about her role in ensuring that excellence in education is accessible to all. Nisa is a Bay Area native and was born and raised in Berkeley, CA and currently resides in Oakland. She holds a BS in Child and Adolescent Development from San Francisco State University, a MS Ed in Early Childhood Education from Bank Street College of Education, and an MS Ed in Private School Leadership from Columbia University, Teachers College.
