Brittany Cora

Interim Assistant Principal of Instruction

Bio

Brittany Cora is a native Memphian and holds a Bachelor of Arts in English from The University of Tennessee- Knoxville , a Masters of Art in Education from Union University, and an Instructional Leadership endorsement from Bethel University. She is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Instructional Leadership from Freed-Hardeman University. Brittany taught both middle and high school English while also serving as Grade Chair for her respective teams.  In 2016, Brittany was accepted into the Aspiring Principals Program with New Leaders, where she was a Resident Principal at Corning Achievement Elementary School in Frayser. She continued her journey as an Assistant Principal in both the ASD and SCS.  In 2018, Brittany came to Aspire Public Schools to serve as Curriculum, Instruction, and Assessment Analyst for the Memphis Regional Office. She has been in education for 10 years and feels purpose in working to make sure that students receive an equitable and life changing educational experience. In her leisure time, Brittany enjoys reading, participating in various activities with her local church, and spending time with her husband and family.
