Ways for companies to get involved
Aspire Public Schools seeks professional expertise and in-kind services in the areas of:
- Legal services
- Architecture and engineering services
- Assist teachers in the classroom
In addition, our secondary schools need companies willing to
- Participate in job-shadowing programs for 6-8 grade students
- Create apprenticeships and internships for students in grades 9-12
- Come to campus and make a presentation about careers
We also welcome donations of used books, magazines, furniture, recent computer equipment, and lab equipment.
Ways for individual volunteers to get involved
Aspire Public Schools can use your talent to:
- Tutor students in any subject, at any level
- Provide technology support and training to teachers
- Assist teachers in the classroom
- Organize mailings to families
- Research other innovative education programs
- Set up partnerships with local businesses and community groups
- Organize a parent/booster club or committee
- Landscape
- Repair or improve the building and grounds
- Fund-raise
